We were privileged to work on the 2009 Gemini Awards broadcast, the first time it has been held in Calgary. Our approach to this package was to combine iconic scenery elements with the energy of the city and the province. The 'wave of energy' elements evoke the kinetic energy of our city life. It is also representative of the resource of energy - oil, gas and wind and to our western heritage with the lariat as the main symbol. Package included the nominee presentations, bumpers, bottom thirds, transitions and monitor loops for this live broadcast.
